You are only a few steps away from making a pembroke welsh corgi puppy a part of your family! Here are some things to consider:

We recognize that most people love the idea of having a dog- but not everyone realistically has the time, space, and commitment level to provide a good environment for a new puppy. Discuss with the rest of your family members or and/or evaluate for yourself whether or not you are ready for a pembroke welsh corgi puppy. This process is not simply buying a fun pet- it is making an important addition to your family!
1. Evaluate and Communicate
If you are ready to secure your puppy, we are happy to schedule a visit with your puppy or the litter. A visit is not required prior to placing a deposit, as we realize that distance/location can cause an inconvenience. Whatever your situation, we are happy to work with what works best for you! Deposits can be made via our website or in person.
2. Set up a visit and/or place a deposit 
Now that you’ve chosen and secured your puppy, it’s time to begin preparations! This includes buying supplies, picking a name, and puppy-proofing your home. We encourage you to educate yourself on the specific breed tendencies of your puppy and to learn training techniques that will fit to your lifestyle. During this preparation time, you will receive email and photo updates of your puppy. Any questions regarding transitioning your puppy home are welcomed, we want to partner with you in getting your puppy off to a great start! We will also schedule a pick up date at this time- our puppies are ready to go home at 9 weeks of age.
3. Prepare for your puppy
We pride ourselves in supplying all of our dogs with nutritious food that we feel confident meets all their needs. PawTree provides a diet that is free from corn, soy and wheat, and has had a tremendous positive impact on our dog’s overall health and happiness. For the sake of the health of your puppy, we ask that you keep it on the same food for at least 2 weeks, but would strongly encourage that you continue with this brand as your puppy continues to grow. With all of our puppies, we offer a one year genetic health guarantee- if you commit to strictly feeding your new puppy the PawTree brand, we will extend that health guarantee to 2 years! We will provide specific info for ordering PawTree dog food, and the order should be placed at least 10 days prior to picking up your new puppy to ensure that you are prepared to keep it on a consistent diet. (We do provide a small bag of food upon pickup that will provide enough food for a couple of days)
4. Schedule a vet appointment
Finding a good vet local to you is also very important, as your pembroke welsh corgi puppy should be seen within 10 days of coming home with you. If you are a first time pet owner or are new to your area, do your research to find a vet you feel confident will care well for your dog throughout its lifetime. We have partnered with Trupanion pet insurance, and provide 30 days of free health insurance for all of our puppies when they go to their new homes. Information for the Trupanion coverage activation will be provided to you shortly before pick up. 
5. Order nutritious PawTree food
This is the moment you’ve been waiting for! Once your puppy is 9 weeks old, it is ready to go home with its new family! On the agreed date/time, you will arrive to complete the adoption. A sales contract will be signed, and will provide all the promised documentation; Veterinarian issued health certificate, vaccination and deworming record, and AKC registration. We will also be sending home a small bag of PawTree food, mom/litter scented blanket, collar, and a toy. Once you are home and starting to settle in, feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns! We are committed to our puppies and their families for their whole lifetime! All of our puppies here at GoldStar Puppies are microchipped, and will be pre-enrolled with AKC Reunite. AKC reunite is an excellent program that ensures that your pet will be reunited with it’s family if it is somehow separated from you. With a microchip scanner, veterinarians and animal control organizations are able to easily trace a pet to its owner when enrolled with AKC Reunite.

AKC Reunite will contact you immediately if your dog is reported as lost, and will make the process of reuniting your family as smooth and stress-free as possible. When you adopt a puppy through GoldStar Puppies, we will provide you with it’s microchip identification number.
All you’ll need to do is visit the AKC Reunite website and enter you and your puppy’s info.
